Thoughts on Life Without the Internet Pt 2

I recently wrote about my wife and I being on  financial diet, and the resulting lack of home internet and phone data package. I talked about some of the drawbacks and ways that I have worked around them. Today,  would like to discuss some good things that have come out of this temporary situation.

Thoughts On Life Without the Internet Part 1

A couple of days ago, I wrote about my Wife and I being on a financial diet. A couple of the expenses we cut  are the home internet, and the data package on my phone.

Over all, this has been a good thing, but I have learned that the data package on the phone was a lot more important than I thought it was. I didn't realize how much I depended on constant access to the internet.

I like this, partly because I say "in theory" or "theoretically" a lot, and a couple of friends always respond with "but we don't live in the land of theory."

Going on a Financial Diet

My wife and I have gone on a financial diet. We are cutting expenses everywhere that we can so that we can pay off some debt and have some cushion in our budget. We really want to give more money to ministries we are excited about, but have a hard time giving anything more than our tithe (and often, that is a stretch).
